CARPORTS

With Enclosed Storage Area

Standard Open Carport

MaxSteel Buildings Metal carports are designed to protect cars, trucks, boats, small campers, and other equipment from weather conditions, but they can provide great solutions for a variety of needs. A metal carport can serve as a covered outdoor recreation area, as shaded outdoor workspace, or as open storage. Depending on the site of the carport you need, what you plan to keep under it, and the weather conditions possible in your area, a certified carport may give you the documentation and peace-of-mind needed. If you like the value of a metal carport but need some additional enclosed storage space to keep valuables protected from harsh weather, consider our Carport with Storage Unit.

Our metal carport and storage combination units (sometimes called “Utility Carports” are ideal for customers needing protection for vehicles and equipment along with the enclosed protection afforded by storage buildings. Why choose one or the other when you can have both? Select from our standard sizes and configurations or choose the customization options and features that are right for you. FREE delivery and installation on level land, concrete slab, asphalt or wood is included. Labor charge may be added for non-level job site and other issues.

The carport area can be sized to cover multiple vehicles, campers, trailers, and boats and the storage units offer customization and affordability to meet your individual needs. Our base price includes (1) 6’x6′ roll-up garage door with side header, (1) gable, (1) walk-in door,  (2) 3’x3′ windows, 7′ side height and either a 5′ or 10′ deep closed-in area. Additional options are available. Regular roof styles do not have any overhang on the sides while both the boxed eave and vertical roof do have overhang.

And don’t forget, while you may start with a simple metal carport, it can be enclosed to become a metal garage, or expanded with a lean-to to create a workshop or other useful metal building.

Metal Carport Roof Style Options

Regular Curved Eave

A regular curved eave roof carport is a stylish and functional structure designed to provide shelter and protection for vehicles or outdoor equipment. Characterized by its elegant curved roofline, this carport features a gentle arch that adds a touch of sophistication to its appearance. Since the metal panels stretch from one gable end to the other, they gracefully curve around the frame’s corners, offering extra protection against varying weather conditions.  With its combination of aesthetics and practicality, a regular curved eave roof carport offers a durable and visually appealing solution for safeguarding your valuable assets from the elements.

Horizontal Boxed Eave

A horizontal boxed eave “A-frame” roof carport is a practical and visually appealing structure designed to provide reliable protection for vehicles and possessions. Its unique “A-frame” design features a horizontal roof orientation similar to the Regular style, so they’re better for warmer and drier climates that don’t require vertical roofing due to weather. The roof combines with the eave’s boxed structure, creating a clean and modern aesthetic. This design offers both stability and style, making it an ideal choice for manyu settings. With its functional design and architectural charm, a horizontal boxed eave “A-frame” roof carport offers a dependable solution for safeguarding your valuables while enhancing the overall look of your property.

Vertical Boxed Eave

A vertical roof carport is designed to provide exceptional protection for your vehicles and belongings. Unlike horizontal roof carports, this design features vertically oriented roof panels connected to steel hat channel purlins, providing added structural integrity, and feature an eave overhang of 4-6″, beautifully capped with boxed trim. The vertical design efficiently channels rain, snow, and debris off the roof. This added feature not only prevents accumulation but also extends the lifespan of the carport. While vertical roof carports may come at a slightly higher cost, the increased durability and superior weather resistance they offer make them a worthwhile investment for those seeking long-term value and peace of mind.
